Dereck Lively II Still Out On Monday
10 months agoDallas Mavericks center Dereck Lively II (nose) won't play on Monday against Washington. The rookie underwent a procedure a week ago to address his fractured nose. Although the injury wasn't expected to keep him out of the lineup for long, fantasy managers shouldn't be shocked to see him off the floor until after the All-Star break. At any rate, Lively's stock has fallen since the team acquired Daniel Gafford and P.J. Washington ahead of the deadline. However, he should remain in the starting lineup and get most of the minutes in the middle once he's back, although his workload could be lessened, especially if Gafford continues to play well.
