Demaryius Thomas More Likely To Be Traded
6 years agoIt's more likely than not that Denver Broncos wide receiver Demaryius Thomas gets traded at this point, but it could depend on what happens with 49ers receiver Pierre Garcon, Lions wideout Golden Tate and Buccaneers receiver DeSean Jackson. The Eagles, Patriots, Colts, Texans and Titans are all in the market for a receiver. Thomas has one year left on his current deal but leads the NFL in drops and has been on a steady decline of late. The Broncos have promising rookie Courtland Sutton, who they wouldn't mind taking on a larger role. If Thomas is dealt, Sutton's fantasy value would receive a huge boost. He's worth stashing now just in case. Thomas has just one 100-yard game this year and is falling into WR3 territory. There's no guarantee a trade will make him more productive.
