Demaryius Thomas Could Play Without Practicing
5 years agoNew York Jets head coach Adam Gase said that he hopes wide receiver Demaryius Thomas (hamstring) can practice by Saturday. Gase also said that Thomas can play on Monday night against Cleveland without practicing. Thomas has yet to play in a regular season game since tearing his Achilles with the Texans last year. If he does make his season debut on Monday, it'll be with former teammate Trevor Siemian under center. With Thomas working his way back as potentially the No. 3 wideout behind Robby Anderson and Jamison Crowder, it's hard to envision him making much of an impact in the passing game. He's best left on the waiver wire outside of much deeper leagues.
