5 years agoNew England Patriots wide receiver Demaryius Thomas (Achilles) is expected to come off the Physically Unable to Perform list on Tuesday. The 31-year-old was a disappointment with both the Broncos and Texans last year and tore his Achilles late in the season with Houston. It looks like he has a chance to be ready for Week 1 in his first year with New England, but the odds of him putting up big numbers with the Patriots took a hit when Josh Gordon was reinstated from his suspension. The team's receiver depth is actually quite deep now with Phillip Dorsett, Julian Edelman, Braxton Berrios and rookies N'Keal Harris and Jakobi Meyers.
