Demaryius Thomas 50-50 To Be Traded?
6 years agoDenver Broncos wide receiver Demaryius Thomas said the chances of him being traded before the Oct. 30 deadline were 50-50 after the team's Week 8 loss to the Chiefs. Thomas was a former first-round pick who is second in franchise history in most of the team's receiving categories, but his contract is coming up soon and his production has been steadily declining. He is second on the team in receptions (36) and receiving yards (402) and is tied for the team lead in touchdowns (three). His salary-cap figure of $17.533 million for 2019 in the last year of his deal and the emergence of rookie Courtland Sutton make him a candidate to be dealt. Thomas has gone over 100 yards on the season just once and has become a low-ceiling WR3 for fantasy purposes. There's no guarantee his fantasy value would rise with a trade. If he's dealt, however, Sutton would see a big boost. He's worth stashing now if he's available on your league's waiver wire.
