5 years agoSan Francisco 49ers rookie wide receiver Deebo Samuel (hip) missed minicamp this week with a tweaked hip that kept him out of the final week of organized team activities, but he should be ready for training camp this summer. Samuels missed some valuable repetitions, but he could still open the season as the starter in the slot. He'll compete with Trent Taylor and Richie James mostly, while Jordan Matthews, Marquise Goodwin, Dante Pettis and rookie Jalen Hurd are also options in this wide-open passing game. We wouldn't expect Samuels to be a consistent performer in redraft leagues in his rookie season.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
