Dee Gordon's X-Rays Inconclusive
6 years agoSeattle Mariners second baseman Dee Gordon's (wrist) X-rays came back inconclusive on Thursday night after he had to leave the game after being hit on the wrist by a J.A. Happ fastball. The speedy infielder will undergo more tests on Friday, and there seems to be a good chance that he'll go on the injured list. The 31-year-old has been hitting leadoff of late and is hitting .304 with three homers, 19 RBI and 10 steals on the season. An extended absence would be a big blow to the M's and Gordon's fantasy owners. With Dylan Moore also injured, the Mariners were forced to use Edwin Encarnacion at the keystone on Thursday late in the game. Expect Seattle to call up a middle infielder on Friday.
