6 years agoNew York Mets third baseman David Wright (shoulder) will begin a rehab assignment with Single-A St. Lucie on Sunday and will play five innings at third base. He last appeared in a minor league game on Aug. 26 of 2017. It was even longer since he played in the bigs, last appearing in May of 2016. It's great news to see Wright getting back in games, but it's still highly unlikely he makes it up to the major leagues to close out the 2018 season.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
