David Robertson To Miss Another Month
6 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies relief pitcher David Robertson (elbow) will be out for at least another month after Dr. James Andrews saw him for a second opinion on his right arm on Monday. Andrews advised Robertson to not throw for three weeks. The right-handed reliever, who signed for $23 million in the offseason, has been out since April 14. He'll have to rebuild his arm strength, and manager Gabe Kapler said there's no timetable for Robertson's return. With Robertson sidelined, Hector Neris has been Philly's ninth-inning guy and he should be owned everywhere. Only hold onto Robertson in shallow mixed leagues if you're desperate for saves.
