2 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies relief pitcher David Robertson (calf) will test his strained right calf with a throwing session on Monday. His status for the National League Championship Series against the San Diego Padres remains unclear, but if he comes out of the session without any setbacks, he could be added to the NLCS roster on Tuesday before Game 1 of the series. The 37-year-old right-handed veteran wasn't available in the NL Division Series against the Atlanta Braves due to a calf injury he injured while celebrating a Bryce Harper home run in the Wild-Card Series. Robertson was one of the team's best relievers during the regular season, so getting him back for the NLCS would be huge for the Phillies bullpen.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
