David Robertson Picks Up A Win Tuesday
2 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies relief pitcher David Robertson was credited with the win on Tuesday in the 3-2 victory over the Miami Marlins. It was his fourth win of the season. Robertson tossed a scoreless ninth frame while allowing one hit, walking two and striking out one. It wasn't the most pristine outing for the 37-year-old veteran, but he'll take the win regardless. He is now 4-2 on the year with a 2.51 ERA (4.09 FIP), a 1.33 WHIP, four saves and 18 strikeouts in 14 1/3 innings pitched since joining the Phillies at the Aug. 2 trade deadline. Robertson has been solid in relief for Philadelphia, but he hasn't had a save since Aug. 24.
