David Peralta To Have Season-Ending Surgery
5 years agoArizona Diamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo said that outfielder David Peralta (shoulder) will undergo season-ending surgery on his right shoulder. While Peralta certainly didn't live up to expectations after batting .293 and clubbing a career-high 30 homers in 2018, he was still relevant in the majority of fantasy leagues this year with his .275/.343/.461 slash line and 12 home runs and 57 RBI in 99 games for the Snakes. Josh Rojas has gotten the first crack at playing time in left field with Peralta out, but Tim Locastro and Adam Jones are other options down the stretch.
