3 years agoLos Angeles Angels second baseman David Fletcher is out of the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against Luis Garcia and the Houston Astros. Kean Wong is getting the start at second base and batting ninth in the game. Fletcher has been struggling immensely at the plate so far this month. Over 18 games in September, he's slashing .141/.208/.155 with just one extra-base hit, a double. The Angels offense has been abysmal lately, mostly due to the plethora of injuries the team has sustained. Fletcher is hitting .271 with 15 stolen bases on the year. He has no power upside whatsoever and all of his stats will continue to suffer while the Angels struggle to manufacture runs.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
