4 years agoThe Texas Rangers placed outfielder David Dahl (rib) on the 10-day injured list on Wednesday. Dahl is dealing with a left rib cage contusion. He suffered the injury in Tuesday's game when he collided with the outfield wall as he was attempting to track down a fly ball off the bat of Jared Walsh. The Rangers called up outfielder Jason Martin to replace Dahl on the roster. There has been some speculation that Dahl may have fractured his rib, but there has been no confirmation of that speculation yet. If there's no fracture, he may only miss the minimum 10 days, but a fracture would result in an extended absence.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
