David Dahl Confident He Won't Be Out Long
6 years agoColorado Rockies outfielder David Dahl, who was placed on the 10-day injured list on Tuesday with a left core injury, said he expects to be back when his 10 days are up. "When I swung, it felt like a cramp that wouldn’t loosen up … They wanted to give it a couple extra days, and I’m very confident I’ll be back within 10 days," Dahl said. Side injuries can be tricky, though, so don't be surprised if Colorado is cautious with Dahl. He should remain stashed in all formats for his upside at Coors Field. Yonathan Daza, who was called up to replace Dahl, was in right field and batting leadoff on Tuesday, but he's expected to split time with Raimel Tapia while Dahl recovers. Tapia is the better addition in NL-only formats.
