Darius Slay Could Miss Week 4 For Lions Defense
5 years agoDetroit Lions Pro Bowl cornerback Darius Slay (hamstring) could be forced to sit out of Week 4 against the Chiefs after injuring his hamstring on the second series of the third quarter in the Week 3 win over the Eagles. Slay, the team's No. 1 cornerback often tasked with covering the opponent's No. 1 receiver, would be a big loss next weekend against the high-flying Chiefs and quarterback Patrick Mahomes. Mike Ford would be next in line for Detroit across from Rashaan Melvin if Slay misses a game.
