Dare Ogunbowale Has Shot To Be Third-Down Back
5 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers running back Dare Ogunbowale could open the season as the team's third-down back. Peyton Barber and Ronald Jones II should have a near even split on early downs, but Jones has been unreliable in passing situations. Ogunbowale has, at times, looked like the team's best running back in the preseason and has easily surpassed veteran Andre Ellington on the depth chart. Given how much the Bucs are expected to throw the ball under head coach Bruce Arians, Ogunbowale could be critical to their game plan. He's relatively unknown in fantasy circles, too, so give him a shot as a late-round sleeper in point-per-reception setups.
