Dante Pettis Expects To Play More In Week 2
5 years agoSan Francisco 49ers wide receiver Dante Pettis (groin) said his "body's back to normal" and that he expects to see more action in Week 2 than the two snaps he played in the season opener against the Buccaneers. Not only has Pettis been limited by an injury to start the year, but San Fran's coaching staff was down on him this summer. It's resulted in Pettis being a non-factor out of the gates, although there's still plenty of time for that to change. He should eventually be a staple in three-wide sets alongside Marquise Goodwin, but for now fantasy owners need to see it to believe it. Leave Pettis on your bench until the coaching staff gives him more of a vote of confidence in playing time. The Niners are on the road against the Bengals this Sunday.
