5 years agoTexas Rangers utility man Danny Santana (hamstring) sat out of the lineup on Thursday with a sore hamstring, but he's expected to return on Friday. The Rangers are playing it safe here with one of the best surprises in baseball this year, and Santana is also struggling this month. The 28-year-old has been a great waiver pickup for fantasy owners this year, though, hitting .304/.332/.567 overall with 21 long balls, 63 runs, 59 RBI and 13 steals in 365 at-bats. The positional versatility he brings is just the icing on the cake. Until he gets his bat going again, however, you might want to keep him on the bench.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
