Daniel Robertson Close To Rehab Assignment
5 years agoTampa Bay Rays infielder Daniel Robertson (knee) is making quick progress since having arthroscopic surgery on his right knee and could start a rehab assignment in the next week, according to manager Kevin Cash. It's good news, but Robertson just isn't much of a fantasy commodity as a utility player in Tampa. He was also hitting just .202/.311/.281 with two homers, 22 runs, 15 RBI and a steal in 178 at-bats before his injury. With Yandy Diaz, Brandon Lowe, Joey Wendle and eventually Matt Duffy around, Robertson won't get many chances to play regularly when he's ready to return.
