3 years agoWashington Nationals relief pitcher Daniel Hudson (elbow) threw a successful bullpen session on Wednesday. Hudson initially landed on the injured list on June 12 with more right elbow issues. But before his injury, he was very good out of the Nationals bullpen, posting a 2.59 ERA, 0.90 WHIP and 35/7 K/BB in 24 1/3 relief innings over 23 appearances. The 34-year-old veteran right-hander will primarily be a setup man ahead of closer Brad Hand, but he could have some fantasy appeal in deeper leagues that count saves and holds. Washington will be looking to get Hudson back in their bullpen right around the All-Star break, barring a setback.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
