3 years agoPortland Trail Blazers point guard Damian Lillard led all scorers with 31 points in Tuesday's overtime loss to Phoenix, but he did it with horrible 11-for-31 shooting and finished just 5-for-16 from downtown. He also had 10 assists with two rebounds, one block and three turnovers in 47 minutes of action. Lillard has returned to the court with back-to-back double-doubles, but he's shot a miserable 16-for-48 from the field and 8-for-30 from outside. Maybe he needs more time off, who knows. Lillard can look for rhythm again on Wednesday against Memphis if he doesn't get rested. The Grizzlies have provided an uncomfortable matchup for point guards this season, so it's not a very good spot for Portland's superstar to end his slump.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
