3 years agoPortland Trail Blazers point guard Damian Lillard finally got his shooting mechanics in order on Friday, leading the team to a 125-116 victory over Charlotte with a season-high 43 points on 12-for-19 shooting. He hit 6-for-11 from downtown and 13-for-14 at the foul line, adding four rebounds, eight assists and one steal with three turnovers in 37 minutes. He had shot a horrible 24-for-69 in his first three games back from injury. Hopefully, this is a start of a good run for Lillard. Sunday's matchup against Memphis could be a tricky one for him, but Lillard will then face New Orleans and Brooklyn, two teams that don't know how to stop point guards.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
