5 years agoMinnesota Vikings running back Dalvin Cook plans to take part in the team's virtual offseason program while awaiting a new contract, according to sources. Cook is entering the final year of his rookie deal in 2020. Minnesota's virtual program begins on Monday. The two sides could work something out long term this summer. The Vikings didn't add any additional running backs in the draft, showing how committed they are to Cook as their true workhorse in the backfield. He finished as the No. 5 fantasy running back in 2019 after rushing for 1,135 yards and 13 touchdowns on the ground. There are some injury concerns with Cook, but he remains a solid RB1 that will come off the board early in drafts.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
