Dalvin Cook Making Excellent Progress
2 years agoMinnesota Vikings running back Dalvin Cook (shoulder) was in Minnesota for a post-surgery checkup on his shoulder recently and is said to be making excellent progress, according to sources. Cook played the last three seasons while protecting his injured shoulder, which is now 100 percent stable and stronger. The 27-year-old had shoulder surgery back in February. He was able to make 17 regular season starts in 2022 and had 264 carries for 1,173 yards and eight touchdowns, adding 39 receptions (56 targets) for 295 yards and two touchdowns. Cook has made the Pro Bowl each of the last four seasons and has surpassed the 1,000-yard rushing mark in all four years as well. With better health in 2023, Cook will surely be in the RB1 conversation yet again.
