4 years agoThe New England Patriots placed rookie tight end Dalton Keene (knee) on Injured Reserve on Tuesday. Rookie Devin Asiasi is also on IR, so that leaves just Ryan Izzo as the only current tight end on the team's active roster. Keene, a third-round pick out of Virginia Tech, has played in just one game this year and caught his only target for eight yards. He obviously wasn't fantasy relevant to begin with. Izzo, 24, becomes a bit more attractive as depth in the deepest of leagues. Izzo has just nine catches on 15 targets for 114 scoreless yards in eight games in 2020. The Patriots just don't utilize the position much now that Rob Gronkowski is in Tampa. Update: With Keene going on IR Tuesday, the Pats claimed tight end Jordan Thomas off waivers from the Cardinals.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
