2 months agoPhiladelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert (knee) was not seen at the portion of practice open to the media on Friday, suggesting that he'll eventually be ruled out for the Week 14 contest versus the visiting Carolina Panthers on Sunday. Goedert was labeled week-to-week after getting hurt in the Week 13 win over the Baltimore Ravens and hasn't practiced at all this week. Fantasy managers should have already moved him to their benches. The good news for the Eagles is that it looks like receiver DeVonta Smith (hamstring) has practiced in full this week and appears to be ready to return after a two-game absence. With Goedert likely out against Carolina, expect Grant Calcaterra to see more pass-catching opportunities in one of the best offenses in the league. In three games that Goedert missed earlier this year due to injury, Calcaterra caught all nine of his targets for 93 yards.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
