5 years agoThe Dallas Cowboys have made it a priority to reach a contract extension with quarterback Dak Prescott now that they have locked up offensive lineman La'el Collins and running back Ezekiel Elliott this week. Prescott doesn't want to focus on a deal during the season. "We’re trying to put the best team around him, we want him to win Super Bowls, he’s going to be the quarterback around here for many, many years to come," executive vice president Stephen Jones said. With or without an extension, Prescott is more of a QB2 for fantasy owners, although he's more of a low-end QB1 in Week 1 against the Giants. Dallas may pass more than usual while easing Elliott back into the fold after his long holdout this summer.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
