D.K. Metcalf On Right Track For Week 1
5 years agoSeattle Seahawks rookie wide receiver D.K. Metcalf (knee) practiced on Monday and looks to be on the right track to be ready for Week 1, barring a setback. It's good news for a Seattle team that will be without David Moore to open the season. Tyler Lockett and Jaron Brown should see more targets on a run-first squad, but even if Metcalf plays he could be behind others such as Malik Turner or even fellow rookies John Ursua and Gary Jennings. Metcalf has the most upside among his rookie receiver teammates in 2019 and is worth a late-round fantasy selection, but we wouldn't expect much from him if he suits up in Week 1 against the Bengals.
