D.J. Chark Expected To Play Sunday
5 years agoJacksonville Jaguars head coach Doug Marrone said that he expects wide receiver D.J. Chark (ankle) to play in Week 16 against the Falcons despite his questionable tag on the final injury report. It looks like Chark will wind up missing just one game. In his absence, Chris Conley was the primary beneficiary with two touchdowns in Week 15. Chark will return was the team's No. 1 wideout, and he needs only 44 yards in the final two weeks for his first 1,000-yard season. The 23-year-old has 67 receptions on 106 targets and eight touchdowns. He'll have WR2 upside in a solid matchup with Atlanta if he's indeed active this weekend. Downgrade Dede Westbrook and Conley if he's back.
