Curtis Samuel Questionable Against Colts
5 years agoCarolina Panthers wide receiver Curtis Samuel (knee) didn't practice on Friday and is questionable for Week 16 against the Colts on the road. Samuel was a mid-week addition to the injury report, which is never a good sign. We'd consider him a true game-time decision this weekend, but luckily the Panthers have an early game on Sunday. Samuel's outlook was already dimmed a bit with rookie quarterback Will Grier getting the start for fantasy finals week, but now he's an even riskier boom/bust WR3 for fantasy owners. D.J. Moore and tight end Greg Olsen would likely see increased looks in the passing game if Samuel is inactive, but this offense might lean even more on stud running back Christian McCaffrey with Grier under center.
