6 years agoChicago Cubs second baseman Javier Baez's (knee) status is unknown for Thursday's game. Baez hurt his knee after a player slid into him on Tuesday, and he didn't play Wednesday. The injury isn't believed to be too serious, though, so even if Baez misses the game on Thursday, he could be back on Friday. The 25-year-old is batting .293 with 19 home runs, 74 RBI and 19 steals, so he's a must-start anytime he's playing.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
