Cowboys Still Talking With Dak Prescott, Amari Cooper
5 years agoDallas Cowboys executive vice president Stephen Jones said the team isn't closing contract negotiations with quarterback Dak Prescott and wide receiver Amari Cooper, even when the season begins. "Oh, yeah, we’re open for business," Jones said. "We don’t put any deadlines on anything." Prescott and Cooper have gone under the radar with running back Ezekiel Elliott holding out this preseason. It's looking more likely that Elliott misses time in the regular season, which would put a damper on Prescott's upside in fantasy. He's on the low-end QB1/high-end QB2 borderline. Cooper would be in line to see more work, but his stock has also fallen a bit due to a foot injury that has kept him sidelined in camp.
