Cowboys Sticking With Dak Prescott
6 years agoDallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones confirmed that the team will move forward with quarterback Dak Prescott as the starter. “Dak is the quarterback of the Dallas Cowboys. He’s young, and he’s going to get extended," Jones said. Even with a new No. 1 wideout in Amari Cooper, Prescott struggled in the Monday night loss to the Titans, going 21-for-31 for 243 yards, two touchdowns and an interception. He also lost a fumble. Even with Cooper, Dallas' passing attack is one of the worst in the NFL, so it's hard to put too much blame on the 25-year-old. He'll merely be a midrange QB2 the rest of the way.
