Cowboys Sold On Dak Prescott
6 years agoDallas Cowboys owners Jerry Jones said the team is "sold" on quarterback Dak Prescott and definitely want to get him signed to a long-term deal before the start of the 2019 season. "I am confident we will get this (deal) done," Jones said on Monday. Prescott, a fourth-round pick in 2016, has led the team to two division titles and 32 wins in the last three years. The 25-year-old is heading into his prime after passing for 3,885 yards, 22 touchdowns and eight interceptions in 2018. He's more of a low-end QB1/high-end QB2 heading into the 2019 season, but Prescott has room to grow. The team is comfortable giving him around $30 million per season moving forward.
