Cory Joseph Performs Well In Starting Unit
3 years agoDetroit Pistons point guard Cory Joseph entered the starting unit on Tuesday against New York and had a decent performance with 15 points on 6-for-8 shooting, two rebounds and one assist. He was perfect with three attempts from deep and registered two turnovers in 25 minutes. Joseph took over from Killian Hayes (illness) in the starting five. Saben Lee also benefited from Hayes' absence and scored a team-high 16 points while logging a few extra minutes. Josephs has now made five starts this season, and his numbers are actually underwhelming, with the 30-year-old having recorded 7.8 points, two rebounds and 4.2 assists. He's not a reliable fantasy option.
