Corey Seager Has Hamstring Contusion
6 years agoUpdating a previous report, Los Angeles Dodgers shortstop Corey Seager left the game early on Thursday with a left hamstring contusion after being hit by a pitch. It doesn't seem to be anything serious enough to keep Seager out of action for an extended period of time, and he could even be back in the lineup as soon as Friday against Brewers starter Corbin Burnes. Seager, who missed most of last year with multiple injuries, is hoping to bounce back fully in 2019 and is hitting .255 with a homer, seven runs and five RBI in 56 plate appearances.
