Corey Seager Expected To Be Ready For Opening Day
6 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said shortstop Corey Seager (elbow, hip) is expected to be healthy and "ready" for Opening Day. Seager missed all of last year after having surgery on his right elbow and left hip, but he's been working with the team in the mornings and taking at-bats on the minor league side in camp. "The way he was moving around yesterday, he’s very excited," said Roberts. "We couldn’t be more happy with where he’s at this day." Seager's fantasy stock is down after missing most of last year, but he has the skills to rebound significantly and become an excellent value pick in mixed leagues this year.
