Cooper Kupp Fine After Suffering Knee Contusion
4 years agoLos Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp (knee) suffered a knee contusion late in the fourth quarter of the wild-card win over the division-rival Seahawks on Saturday. He will be fine and should be active in the Divisional Round next weekend. The 27-year-old left the game late and didn't return with the game already decided, but it looks like he escaped a serious injury. Kupp finished the game with four catches on nine targets for 78 yards in the 30-20 win over Seattle. The former third-round pick remains quarterback Jared Goff's (thumb) favorite aerial target, but he'll be a bit risky yet again in DFS playoff lineups next week (likely against Green Bay) with both Goff and backup John Wolford (neck) dealing with injuries. Don't be surprised if Kupp misses some practice time this week as a precaution.
