Conor Garland Ends 10-Game Goal Drought
3 years agoVancouver Canucks winger Conor Garland produced a team-high five shots and ended a 10-game goal drought in Wednesday's 4-2 loss to Colorado. He tied things up in the second frame and Tucker Poolman, who had two points, gave Vancouver a lead early in the third, but the team still failed to end a losing run. Times are currently bad for the Canucks, so Garland's struggles in front of the net don't come as a surprise. He's managed only four goals for the team in 17 games and has 13 points with 36 shots. Vancouver ends the week against Winnipeg and an improving Chicago squad, so their five-game skid could get longer real quick.
