6 years agoSan Francisco Giants outfielder Connor Joe is starting in left field and batting sixth on Opening Day on Thursday against Padres starter Eric Lauer in his major league debut. Michael Reed is starting in right field and hitting seventh. Both Joe and Reed should see decent playing time in the Giants rebuilding outfield to start the 2019 season. Joe hit .299/.408/.527 with 17 home runs and 55 RBI with Double-A Tulsa and Triple-A Oklahoma City last year. Both he and Reed are lottery tickets in both DFS and NL-only leagues to begin the season.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
