Colts Not Looking To Trade Jacoby Brissett
6 years agoIndianapolis Colts general manager Chris Ballard said he isn't trying to give backup quarterback Jacoby Brissett away this offseason. “It would take somebody doing something that would blow me away, and it has to be the right thing for the kid, too," Ballard said. Brissett was up and down when he was forced to start 16 games in 2017 due to Andrew Luck's shoulder issues, but he has intriguing upside as an NFL backup and gives the Colts some insurance in case anything else were to happen to Luck moving forward. Thankfully for Indy, Brissett attempted just four passes in four games in 2018 as Luck bounced back in a big way.
