4 years agoTampa Bay Rays right-hander Collin McHugh (back) "bounced back (and) felt good" after throwing a bullpen session, according to manager Kevin Cash. McHugh threw off a mound again on Monday and is eligible to come off the injured list on Wednesday. Left-hander Cody Reed (thumb) will not come off the injured list when he's eligible on Tuesday, but Cash said he expects Reed to have a "fairly quick turnaround" once he starts his throwing program following a Botox injection for his injury. McHugh has a rough 10.13 ERA in four outings so far this year, while Reed has given up just one earned run in his 3 1/3 innings pitched over five outings. The Rays bullpen is slowly getting healthier, with Pete Fairbanks also expected to return in short order.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
