Coby White Plays Big Role In Comeback Win
3 years agoChicago Bulls point guard Coby White scored 10 of his 14 points in the fourth quarter as the team completed a comeback win over the Knicks on Sunday. Zach LaVine had a rough night with 7-for-20 shooting and the Bulls were trailing ahead of the final 12 minutes of action, but they battled out a 109-103 victory in the end. White, who played for only the fourth time this season after recovering from shoulder surgery, shot 5-for-11 from the field and 3-for-6 from outside, while delivering two assists with zero turnovers in 21 minutes. Following the arrival of Lonzo Ball, White's role has completely changed this season and it will be fascinating to watch how he adapts to a bench role. His Sunday's performance was an encouraging sign that White could still play an important role for the team.
