Clayton Kershaw To Make Another Rehab Start On Friday
4 months agoLos Angeles Dodgers left-hander Clayton Kershaw (shoulder) will make another minor-league rehab start with Triple-A Oklahoma City on Friday night. It will be Kershaw's third rehab start and second since being briefly shut down because of left-shoulder soreness. He made it through three scoreless and hitless innings in his last rehab start last Saturday for Oklahoma City, walking one and striking out five. It was a big step for the 36-year-old future Hall of Famer after a setback in his recovery from offseason shoulder surgery. It was his first appearance since June 19. If Kershaw's rehab start on Friday goes well, there's a chance that the Dodgers will feel he's ready to come off the 60-day injured list to make his 2024 debut sometime next week. While fantasy managers can't expect Kershaw to be an ace at the tail end of his career, he still has the potential to be a solid mid-rotation starter in all leagues.
