Clayton Kershaw To Get MRI Exam On Friday
4 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Clayton Kershaw (forearm) will go for an MRI exam when the team returns to LA, which will likely be on Friday, according to manager Dave Roberts. The skipper didn't show too much immediate concern, but they'll know more when they get the results back. The Dodgers placed Kershaw on the 10-day injured list on Wednesday with left forearm inflammation. Fantasy managers will be holding their breathe until we know more, but the hope is that he can return when eligible on July 16. The 33-year-old southpaw is 9-7 on the season with a 3.39 ERA, 0.98 WHIP and 127/19 K/BB in 106 1/3 innings, so he continues to be extremely valuable in fantasy leagues. Hold onto him in all leagues.
