Clayton Kershaw Allows Two Runs In Rehab Start
6 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Clayton Kershaw (shoulder) gave up two runs on four hits while walking two and striking out six in 4 1/3 innings for Triple-A Oklahoma City on Thursday. He touched 90 mph twice with his fastball in the first inning, but he mainly sat in the upper-80s. The 31-year-old lefty also allowed a homer to Tyrone Taylor, who hit 20 home runs last year. It's unknown where Kershaw will pitch next, but he expects to make another rehab start. Kershaw is in line to pitch again Tuesday, but he could be cleared to make his season debut with the Blue after that. Kershaw is more risky than ever as a fantasy ace this year, but he still has what it takes to be very effective when healthy.
