CJ McCollum Undergoes Successful Surgery
2 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans guard CJ McCollum (thumb, shoulder) underwent successful surgery on Tuesday to repair a UCL tear in his right thumb. He also suffered a torn labrum in his right shoulder. Fortunately, the 31-year-old won't need surgery for that and will participate in a rehab program during the offseason. McCollum is coming off another quality season, finishing the 2022-23 campaign by averaging 20.9 points, 5.7 assists, and 4.4 rebounds while shooting 38.9% from deep in 75 games. While he is getting older and his production is declining somewhat, he should remain a quality fantasy asset next season, especially since he should be 100% by training camp.
