Christin Stewart Starting Rehab Assignment
6 years agoDetroit Tigers outfielder Christin Stewart (quadriceps) started his rehab assignment with Single-A Lakeland on Sunday, according to manager Ron Gardenhire. Stewart initially suffered a right quad strain on April 17. The 25-year-old was hitting .222 with three home runs and 13 RBI in 16 games this year for Detroit, and he'll likely return to an everyday role for the Tigers when he's ready. He should be stashed in a disabled spot if you have the room in AL-only leagues.
