Chris Thompson, Jamison Crowder Ruled Out
6 years agoWashington Redskins running back Chris Thompson (knee, rib) and wide receiver Jamison Crowder (ankle) have been ruled out for Week 6 against the Panthers. The Redskins are extremely banged up on offense this week. With Thompson out, Adrian Peterson, who is also hobbled, will be the main back, but Kapri Bibbs should serve in a change-of-pace role. Peterson is a high-volume RB2 but is a bit more risky this week at less than 100 percent. Josh Doctson and Paul Richardson, who are also injured, should see most of the aerial targets in this one, with Maurice Harris also working in. Tight end Jordan Reed could have a big day.
